                              Ramses V = Vladimir Alexandrovitch

      Ramses VI = Nicholas II

There are several striking similarities between the Ramessides of the 19th–20th dynasties and the Romanovs of the 17th–20th centuries. Closer scrutiny reveals a return of the same souls and a similar order of succession. We examine some loosely-paralleled examples here: Ramses I was the chosen successor of Horemheb, the last pharaoh of the 18th dynasty, who had usurped power and replaced the last of Tutankhamen's line. Similarly, the Boyars (Grand Dukes) of Russia chose Michael I as Tzar to replace the last of the previous Rurik dynasty. Ramses ruled for about 18 months while Michael was Tzar for about 32 years, although most of his reign was dominated by his father who ruled Russia as the Patriarch. Michael was effectively ruler for the last decade of his reign. Ramses the Great ruled for about 66 years and is generally regarded as the most powerful warrior pharaoh of the New Kingdom. Peter the Great was the first Tsar to become Emperor of all Russia and was again renown for his lengthy wars against foreign empires. He is also credited for the cultural-scientific revolution and civil-administrative reforms that brought about the modernisation of Russia. He ruled for approximately 39 years. Isetnofret II was the Great Royal Wife of pharaoh Merneptah (later Feodor III) and the mother of both Seti II (Peter II) and Merenptah (Peter III). As Queen she ruled over two lands; Upper and Lower Egypt. On her return three millennia later she overthrew her husband Peter III (previously her son Merenptah) and ruled Russia as Catherine the Great for 34 years. Ramses III ruled for 32 years but was asssassinated in a royal harem conspiracy. Alexander II, the reformer who freed the serfs, likewise was assassinated. He would return in the 20th century as Mikhail Gorbachev, ever still the reformer. Other lives include Cleisthenes, the Athenian lawgiver, who reformed ancient Athens by having aristocratic oligarchy replaced with participatory democracy, c.508BCE.

From temple vizor to court advisor

As an addendum, the son of Ramses III saw the family vizor and high priest of Amun, Ramessesnakht, gain unparalleled power and effectively govern Upper Egypt out of Thebes. Pharaoh Ramses VI and Ramessesnakht returned as Tsar Nicholas II and Gregori Rasputin. Rasputin's controversial involvement with and influence over members of the imperial family is well known. His reputation for licentiousness earned him the name Rasputin, from 'rasputny' in Russian, which literally means the “debauched one". The Ramesside rule continued with a further succession of Ramseses until the 20th dynasty ended with Ramses XI. In contrast, the Romanov rule of Russia ended with the assassination of Nicholas II and his family, though peripheral descendants of the Romanovs are still recognised today. Historians attribute Rasputin's scandalous association to the demise of the House of Romanov.

The Return of Royalty

Marie Antoinette (1755 – 1793) was the young Queen Consort of Louis XVI of France. Her unpopularity with the common people added to the discredit of the monarchy leading up to the French Revolution. Marie was eventually beheaded in Paris. She returned three centuries later as Princess Diana. Her life was an expiation of the tragic defaults of Marie Antoinette. Diana gained unprecedented popularity in her service to humanitarian causes but, simultaneously, suffered deep personal unhappiness for Marie Antoinette's self-indulgence. Diana's decade-long struggle with bulimia was a karmic consequence of her past, even though she herself described her eating disorder as a "symptom of what was going on in [her] marriage." (BBC, 1995)  Diana's accidental death in Paris two years later was a karmic release. According to El Aurenx, she had completed a cycle of reincarnations learning to use her royalty for the common good and will hereafter reincarnate to a higher cycle. (Esoteric Biographies, 1997–2001)

King Charles III had previously been Louis XVI and is also repaying karmic royalties. He was an amiable king but inherited an impoverished kingdom from his despotic forebears. Heavy taxation disgruntled the populace while the court dominated by Marie Antoinette continued to spend lavishly. Louis was beheaded under the French Revolution, a victim of misfortune. He was, however, an ineffectual ruler who preferred to spend his time at hobbies, such as hunting and locksmithing, rather than attending to the affairs of state. He was also unduly permissive of his extravagant wife. Charles will not reign long since he may be obliged to abdicate the throne under public pressure in favour of Prince William, the reincarnate Dauphin, Louis XVII, who died aged 10 of tuberculosis. It is foretold that the monarchy will collapse within the century.

The Empire Returns

According to El Ochre, Theodosius I and Francis I were once grandfathers of Francis II and Theodosius II, respectively. Also known as Theodosius the Great (347 – 395 CE), the former was the last ruler of the Roman Empire before it split into a Latinised western part and a Hellenistic (Byzantine) eastern part.

Similarly, Francis II (1768 – 1835) was the last non-Habsburg monarch and co-ruler of the Holy Roman Empire, a position he gained through his marriage to empress regent Maria Theresa. By birth she was the only female sovereign of the Austrian Habsburg dynasty. Together they had sixteen children, including Marie Antoinette, the last Queen of France. As we've seen above, the latter would return as Princess Diana of the British royal family. Emperor Francis II had to contend against Napoleon, as he had previously done against Attila the Hun . Coincidently, Napoleon and Attila are transpersonal lives, making Francis II and Theodosius II his adversary, twice. (El Ochre, 23 October 2024)

This is another example of individuals linked to the same family. No doubt their connections can be traced farther back in history.

The Empire Strikes Back

It seems the soul of Crown Prince Rudolf (1859 – 1889), heir to the Austrian-Hungarian Empire, is linked by a bizarre twist of fate to Emperor Nero. This identification was made public by Rudolf Steiner, himself Austrian, shortly before his own death. According to Steiner, the link came about via his old professor, Karl Julius Schröer, two days after the Prince and his young mistress Baroness Marie von Vetsera committed double suicide — later dubbed the 'Mayerling incident'. Steiner, then still in his late twenties, recalls visiting his professor at home: “When I arrived I found him profoundly shocked, as numbers were, by what had happened. And the word ‘Nero’ fell from his lips, apparently without reason, as though it burst from dark depths of the spirit. To all appearances the word came entirely out of the blue. But later on it became quite clear that in reality the Akashic Record was here being voiced through human lips.” Steiner stresses the prolonged difficulties he encountered during his investigation: "I was continually being diverted by the fact that all sorts of people — you may believe it or not — were claiming with fanatical insistence that they themselves had been Nero! So it was a matter, first of all, of combating the subjective force emanating from these alleged reborn Neroes.” (GA 236, Karmic Relationships, Volume II: Lecture V, 27 April 1924) We believe Steiner's conversations with such 'people' are not to be taken literally but rather seen as soul encounters on a spiritual plane. In our opinion his identification of Crown Prince Rudolf as Emperor Nero was at the time somewhat mistaken. It appears the entangled soul is indeed among the 'reborn Neroes' who had appeared in the empire claiming he was still alive. His name is given to us as Terentius Maximus, one of the first Nero-impostors. (El Ochre 14 February 2018) Terentius was a Roman soldier who rose in prominence after Nero's suicide. Whether or not they knew each other is uncertain. What we do know from historical sources is that Terentius resembled Nero in appearance and used rumours of the Emperor's immortality to personal advantage, leading a rebellion against the Flavian dynasty, successors to the Julio-Claudians whose reign ended with Nero. By 80 CE we find Terentius in Asia Minor where, marching against Rome, his neo-Nero followers were halted and the uprising suppressed. Terentius then fled to Parthia and, again acting as Nero, claimed requital for all he had done to return Armenia to their empire. Artabanus III, the new rebel king, initially agreed to lend his army for the recapture of Rome and to have Nero reinstated as emperor. However, when exposed as an imposter, Artabanus had Terentius executed. Now it becomes truly interesting: Artabanus III was the son of Vologases I (today Putin) and a cousin to Tiridates I (Zelensky). Given that they are all in play today, including Nero (Trump), we could also expect Terentius back to mix things up again. See our post on Orbán and Erdoğan above for more details. For further background to this bizarre historical phenomenon, please google 'Pseudo-Nero'. There are no known portraits of Terentius Maximus, the photographed Roman soldier is used only to illustrate this post.
